Lindy is a platform for building and running AI agents that act on your behalf. Rather than exposing numbered releases, it ships continuously, so there is no public version number to track. What matters more is what the product has become.
In the first quarter of 2026 Lindy went through a significant repricing and repositioning. It relaunched as a consumer-facing 'AI executive assistant' rather than a purely developer-oriented agent builder, and it retired its old free plan (which had offered roughly 400 credits a month). The whole lineup was replaced by paid Plus, Pro and Max tiers, per-tier credit numbers were dropped from the public page, and the pricing is now framed against the cost of a human assistant, cited at around $8,000 a month.
On capability, Lindy connects to email, calendars, iMessage/SMS, meeting notes and more than 100 integrations, and can chain these into multi-step automations. The Pro and Max tiers add model selection (choosing among underlying frontier LLMs) and computer use, letting agents operate a browser and interact with apps that lack a clean API.
Pricing is paid-only after a 7-day free trial that needs no credit card. Plus is $49.99/mo with standard usage and up to two inboxes; Pro is $99.99/mo with roughly triple the usage, up to three inboxes, plus computer use and model selection; Max is $199.99/mo with about seven times the usage and up to five inboxes. Enterprise is custom-priced and adds SSO, SCIM, HIPAA and audit logs. Usage is credit-based on top of the base plan, and overages are billed at roughly double the standard rate.
The main limitations are cost and predictability. The free tier is gone, entry starts at $49.99/mo, and because published credit allowances were removed it can be hard to estimate what a given workload will actually cost, especially once overages kick in at about 2x. Annual pricing is not published.
Lindy suits professionals and small teams who want an assistant that actually takes actions across their inbox, calendar and tools, and who are comfortable paying assistant-tier prices. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs a genuinely free option or wants fully transparent, fixed usage costs up front.
