Agent 4 introduces multi-task parallelism: instead of building an app sequentially, it spins up parallel agents that handle authentication, database setup, backend logic, and frontend code at the same time, with progress visible in a dedicated panel. The Security Agent performs codebase scanning at three levels: a free dependency and static code analysis pass, a white-box scan, and a combined white-box plus black-box scan; Replit has not published scan duration figures.

Core costs $20/month billed monthly, or $18/month billed annually, and includes $20 in monthly credits plus a Free Mode allowance of up to 30 hours of chat and 60 projects. Free Mode, included inside the paid tiers, resets its usage allowance every 5 hours and always uses automatic intelligent model routing rather than manual model selection, which is reserved for Power/Max modes. Generated code across all tiers often needs review before production use, and the browser-based environment can feel slower than local editors for large projects.
