Adobe Podcast is a web app for recording and cleaning up spoken-word audio without a traditional editing suite. Its best-known feature, Enhance Speech, strips background noise and room echo from voice recordings and makes them sound closer to a studio microphone capture.
Adobe Podcast is now folded into Adobe Firefly, Adobe's broader AI platform. Enhance Speech and the Podcast Studio multitrack tool continue to operate, but since August 30, 2026 Podcast Premium is no longer sold as a standalone plan; new paid access goes through Firefly plans instead.
The Studio side of the product accepts multitrack audio and video uploads with automatic syncing, so podcast and interview recordings from several sources can be aligned and enhanced together.
Enhance Speech remains free to use with an Adobe account, subject to usage limits that Adobe does not publish in a way that could be independently confirmed at the time of writing. Paid access is sold through four Firefly plans billed monthly: Firefly Standard at $9.99/month (2,000 generative credits), Firefly Pro at $19.99/month (4,000 credits, including everything Podcast Premium previously offered), Firefly Pro Plus at $49.99/month (10,000 credits), and Firefly Premium at $199.99/month (50,000 credits). Subscribers who were already on the old standalone Podcast Premium plan keep their existing price and, as of August 30, 2026, also receive Firefly Standard (2,000 credits/month) at no extra cost; if they cancel after that date they would need to buy Firefly Pro to regain Premium features.
The main limitation is that the features most people want at scale, such as video enhancement and bulk processing, sit behind a paid Firefly plan, and the exact boundaries of the free tier are not clearly documented. It suits podcasters, interviewers, video creators and anyone who records voice in imperfect rooms and wants clean results fast; the free tier works for occasional light use, while regular producers will need a paid Firefly plan.
