FlutterFlow

FlutterFlow is a visual application builder that generates production-quality Flutter/Dart code for iOS, Android, web, and desktop apps. Unlike no-code tools that lock users into a proprietary runtime, FlutterFlow produces real, exportable Flutter code, so teams can start visually and move to code-based development as needed.

During 2026 FlutterFlow expanded heavily into AI agent tooling: GenUI, an AI agent that composes components into interactive UI at runtime, and FlutterFlow MCP, which lets external AI coding agents build and edit FlutterFlow apps, both shipped in May 2026. In July 2026 FlutterFlow added the ability to run Anthropic's Claude Code or OpenAI's Codex directly inside FlutterFlow Desktop on macOS, with per-message selection of agent, model, and reasoning level.

The platform includes a visual UI editor with drag-and-drop components, a state management system, backend integrations with Firebase, Supabase, and REST APIs, a logic builder for conditional actions, and a custom actions system for writing Dart code when needed. AI features go beyond simple text-to-screen generation and include Image to Component, Prompt to Component, Prompt to Page, an AI Agent Builder for embedding in-app agents, GenUI, FlutterFlow MCP, and the Claude Code/Codex plugins in Desktop. Apps can be deployed directly to TestFlight and the Play Store.

Pricing runs on a tiered, per-seat structure. Free is $0/month but is capped at 2 projects and 10 Lite credits per month, with no code export and no GitHub integration. Basic is $39/month and adds Code Download, APK Download, unlimited projects, and 100 Lite credits/month, but still no GitHub integration. Growth is $80/month for the first seat ($55/month for a second seat) and adds GitHub integration plus real-time collaboration for 2 users, with 200 Lite credits per seat/month. Business is $150/month for the first seat (seats 2-5 at $85/month each), supports up to 5 users, 400 Lite credits per seat/month, and adds extra branching and testing. Annual billing is also offered at a discount, though the vendor's pricing page did not have exact annual figures confirmed.

Limitations: code export requires Basic or above, GitHub integration is gated behind the $80/month Growth tier, and the free plan's project and credit caps make it unsuitable for anything beyond evaluation. Complex custom interactions can still require dropping into Dart code, and AI feature usage across all tiers is now metered by the Lite credit system rather than being unlimited.
