Framer is a browser-based website builder that pairs a visual design canvas with AI generation. Rather than only turning a text prompt into a landing page, it lets you build, restyle, and wire up responsive sites, publish them on Framer hosting, and manage content through a built-in CMS.
The current release, Framer 3.0, launched June 16, 2026, as a major overhaul. It introduced Framer Agents for in-canvas AI co-editing through a new Agent tab, along with Branching, External Agents, a rebuilt Community, and a credit-based pricing model. The old Scale plan was retired, leaving Free, Basic, Pro, and Enterprise tiers.

Framer's pricing page also lists Basic at $10 and Pro at $30, but the page includes a yearly-billing toggle and does not separately disclose a confirmed monthly-billing figure, so these amounts reflect the listed pricing-page price rather than a verified per-month charge. Basic includes 1,000 AI credits per billing period (selectable up to 15,000 at a higher price), 50 GB bandwidth, 2 CMS collections, 1,000 CMS items, 30 pages, a custom domain, and built-in SEO. Pro includes 3,000 credits (selectable up to 100,000), 100 GB bandwidth, 10 CMS collections (expandable at $40 per additional 10, up to 40), 150 pages, staging, branching with previews, and add-ons such as advanced hosting and A/B testing. Enterprise is custom-priced and billed annually, with volume-discount credits, unlimited editors, SSO/SCIM, and an uptime guarantee.
On Basic and Pro, an additional editor seat costs $20 per month and a CMS-only Content Editor seat costs $10 per month, with viewer access free; this seat pricing was introduced in Framer's June 16, 2026 pricing update. Because AI actions consume credits, heavy generation can add real cost on top of the base subscription, and CMS collection limits are notably tighter on Basic than on the free tier.
