Looka is an online design platform built around an AI logo maker. You answer a few questions about your company name, industry and style preferences, and it generates a range of logo concepts you can refine in a browser-based editor without any design experience.

The 2026 version is a meaningful step up rather than a cosmetic refresh. Looka rolled out a faster and more accurate AI generation engine, added animated logo videos for YouTube intros, social posts and presentations, introduced multilingual prompt input, and now lets you feed a custom color palette into the generation so results match your brand from the start. There's also an all-new text and font editor, a revamped Explore inspiration section, and a dedicated iOS app called Looka AI Logo Maker Generator.

On the design side you can edit fonts, colors, layout, spacing and icons, save unlimited versions, and preview your logo on mockups. The Brand Kit turns your chosen logo into hundreds of matched marketing templates, and the top tier can even generate a hosted website using your branding.

Pricing has two shapes. One-time logo packages: Basic Logo at $20 gives a single low-resolution PNG, while Premium Logo at $65 unlocks high-resolution PNG, EPS, SVG and PDF files, color variations, unlimited edits after purchase and full ownership. Annual subscriptions add Brand Kit at $96/year (300+ branded assets and templates plus unlimited logo changes) and Brand Kit + Web at $129/year, which adds an AI-generated website with hosting.

The key limitation is that designing, previewing and saving are free, but downloading any usable file requires a purchase, and the cheapest option is only a low-res PNG. Output also tends toward clean, template-influenced styles, so highly bespoke or hand-crafted identities may still need a human designer.
