Uizard is an AI-powered UI prototyping tool that converts screenshots of existing apps, hand-drawn sketches, and text descriptions into editable UI mockups — making it one of the fastest ways to go from idea to visual prototype without design skills.
Miro acquired Uizard in 2024, but as of late 2026 the uizard.io site carries no Miro branding and presents Uizard as a standalone product, with its own pricing and feature pages.
The flagship feature is Autodesigner 2.0 (available on Pro and above), which allows conversational section-by-section editing: describe a change to your design in plain language and Autodesigner applies it. Screenshot Scanner converts any app screenshot into an editable Uizard template in seconds, and Wireframe Scanner converts hand-drawn sketches into digital wireframes. Other capabilities include text-to-UI generation, interactive prototyping with click-through flows, and a component library for common UI elements.
Pricing: the Free plan includes 3 AI generations per month, 2 projects, 10 templates, and a 400-component limit. Pro costs $12 per month, billed annually, and includes 500 AI generations per month, up to 100 projects, Autodesigner 2.0, and developer handoff in React CSS. Business costs $39 per month, billed annually, and includes 5,000 AI generations per month, unlimited projects, faster AI generation, and a custom brand kit. Enterprise pricing is custom and includes unlimited AI generations, unlimited teams, design system setup, and white-glove onboarding.
Limitations: Autodesigner 2.0 — the most capable AI feature — requires a paid plan, and the free tier's generation allowance and component limit are fairly restrictive. Output at lower tiers can look generic. The Miro acquisition, combined with the disappearance of any Miro branding from the site, leaves some uncertainty about how Uizard's roadmap will evolve.
Best suited for product managers, startup founders, and non-designers who need to quickly mock up app screens for stakeholder review or user testing without hiring a designer.
