Gamma is a web-based tool that turns a short prompt or an outline into a finished presentation, document, or simple website. Instead of arranging slides by hand, you describe what you want and Gamma builds the structure, writing, and layout for you to refine.
The current version is Gamma 3.0. Its headline addition is Gamma Agent, a conversational AI that restyles and rewrites a deck from plain-language commands rather than manual editing. The release also adds several image models (Nano Banana Pro with in-image text and 4K HD output, Recraft V4, Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, and Flux 2), plus a new Gamma Imagine product for marketing assets, charts, and infographics.
On the capability side, the Claude and ChatGPT connectors were improved to handle deck naming, card counts, brand colors, and plan checks, and Gamma is now available as an app inside ChatGPT. The editor gained 6-column layouts and gradient card backgrounds, and the public API can now delete decks.
Pricing is split into Free, Plus, Pro, and Ultra individual plans, plus Team and Business. The Free plan now grants 400 one-time credits that never refresh, allows 10 cards per prompt, and keeps a Made with Gamma badge. Plus runs about $9/seat/month with roughly 1,000 monthly credits and watermark removal; Pro is about $18/seat/month with around 4,000 credits, custom branding, and API access; the newer Ultra tier is about $90/seat/month with roughly 20,000 credits and top-tier models. Team is about $20/seat/month (annual, two-seat minimum) and Business about $40/seat/month (annual, ten-seat minimum) with SSO and SOC 2.
Limitations are worth noting. Credits are consumed by AI generation, so heavy users can burn through an allowance quickly, and the Free plan's 400 credits do not renew. Exact monthly prices vary by a few dollars across sources, and fine visual control still lags behind traditional design tools.
Gamma suits people who need to produce decks, one-pagers, or landing pages fast and value speed over pixel-level control. It is a strong fit for founders, marketers, educators, and teams that want a consistent house style without a dedicated designer.
